Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. In this vital role, you will manage accounts payable activities, ensure timely billing, create invoices and bids for all work orders, accurate record-keeping, and clear and constant communication with clients. Your expertise will help maintain healthy cash flow and uphold our commitment to financial integrity. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your accounting skills within a collaborative and fast-paced environment, supporting both organizational goals and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Create bids and invoices using QuickBooks Desktop.
Manage collections accounts by following up on overdue invoices via phone, email, or written correspondence while maintaining professional client communication and negotiation skills.
Communicate in a professional manner with clients about information submitted to them on bids and invoices.

Skills

Understanding of accounting concepts including debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping
Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks, experience with billing specifically is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction regarding bids and invoices submitted
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and record keeping; ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while adhering to deadlines
