Full Job Description

Senior Client Manager – Personal Financial Management

Personal Administrators is seeking an experienced Senior Client Manager/Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day personal financial activities of multiple clients. This is a hands-on client-facing role for someone who is highly organized, works independently, thinks critically, and takes ownership of their responsibilities. Our work is fast-paced, detailed, and often involves shifting priorities. The right person will be able to manage interruptions without losing track of deadlines or important details.

This is a full-time, in-office position in Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities

Manage the personal financial activities of multiple clients
Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks
Oversee accounts payable, deposits, bank and credit card reconciliations, and general bookkeeping
Prepare and review personal financials and reports
Develop budgets and cash-flow projections
Monitor account balances, upcoming expenses, and cash needs
Identify discrepancies and resolve issues proactively
Coordinate with clients, attorneys, investment advisors, and other professionals
Manage deadlines and respond appropriately when priorities change
Track time accurately by client and task
Maintain complete documentation and strict client confidentiality

Qualifications

Strong QuickBooks experience is required
Substantial bookkeeping or accounting experience
Experience preparing and understanding personal financial statements
Experience with budgeting and cash-flow planning
Ability to work autonomously and use sound professional judgment
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Exceptional organization and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple clients and competing deadlines
Ability to remain productive while handling frequent interruptions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
Willing and able to work full-time from our Austin office

The Right Person for This Position

You notice what needs attention, determine the next step, and follow through without requiring constant direction. You are comfortable juggling multiple clients and shifting priorities without losing track of details. You work hard, communicate clearly, protect confidential information, and take pride in producing accurate work on time.

Experience supporting high-net-worth individuals, families, family offices, or other private clients is preferred.

Compensation: $72K to $75K, based on experience

Benefits: 401k, medical insurance (company pays a ½ premium, but additional family health coverage, dental and vision available at employee’s expense) as well as paid personal time. Company pays time-and-a-half for overtime. Extensive background check, clean driving record with proof of current insurance and a confidentiality agreement required for all candidates prior to employment.

Pay: $72,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
