Executive Assistant for Home Slice Pizza

Home Slice Pizza is hiring an Executive Assistant. This role is a key organizer for three members of the leadership team at Home Slice Pizza. This person is responsible for streamlining their ability to juggle the many facets of operating our business, all while making it look easy.

Job duties include, but aren’t limited to:

Organizing and scheduling three very busy people. This covers everything from meetings to business travel to medical appointments

Distilling information coming in from both internal and external sources

Drafting and proofing messages and emails

Ensuring successful executive meetings by:

Securing materials for meetings (agenda, documents, pictures, shareables, and food when required)
Taking detailed notes in said meetings
Distilling the information into summaries and actionable tasks post meeting
Tracking those action items to make sure items stay on task
Cleaning up meeting spaces before or after when required

Learning the software platforms we use for our business and assisting the executive team where possible to troubleshoot or solve problems. Platforms include:

Google Suite - Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides, Vids
Slack
Toast
xTraChef
Other third party platforms - Uber Eats, DoorDash, GrubHub, ChowNow, Favor, America To Go

Running errands as needed

Travel with the executive team when required (usually once a month). Candidate must have:

Valid driver’s license
Proof of insurance
Reliable transportation

The ideal candidate for this position has:

A high moral compass and can be trusted with confidential information

Sense of humor

A belief that honesty is the key to successful relationships

Experience as an executive assistant or personal assistant

A love for using calendars

Excellent organizational skills

Strong administrative skills (G suite) and basic accounting knowledge (P&L, inventory)

Excellent written communication skills

Observant with a meticulous eye for detail and editing

Ability to take feedback and direction

Ability to oversee multiple projects at once from inception to completion

A strong desire to learn from every experience and continuously improve

Previous experience with restaurant point of sale systems or experience managing in a full service restaurant

Some experience speaking and writing in both English and Spanish

Schedule:

Mon-Friday 9 am - 5 pm

40 hours per week

Flexibility as needed for special events

Travel to Houston occasionally

Compensation:

$58,000 to $63,000 salary range depending on experience
