Account Manager (Sales) – Architectural Signage & Graphics | Full-Time | Austin, Texas

ABOUT US

Building Image Group is a locally owned Austin institution, a "Creative General Contractor" that designs, fabricates, and installs architectural signage all under one roof. ADA and wayfinding systems, environmental graphics, custom metal and LED fabrication, large-format interiors, corporate branding, complete sign programs. When architects, developers, and GCs need it done right, they call BIG.

THE ROLE

Full-cycle sales with real authority. You'll manage an established client base, develop new opportunities, estimate and scope complex projects, and own them from proposal through installation — backed by an experienced team of project managers, designers, fabricators, and installers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Build lasting relationships with architects, GCs, developers, and property managers — clients return because you deliver, every time
Own every project from first conversation to final installation
Estimate with precision — materials, fabrication, and installation costs that protect margins and win the right work
Deliver proposals that reflect the quality we're known for, in collaboration with our design and production teams
Keep every stakeholder aligned and every deadline met — our reputation depends on it
Know the code — ADA, architectural specifications, and compliance are second nature to you

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Proven sales experience in architectural signage — required
Deep knowledge of signage production, fabrication, and installation
Ability to read architectural plans and construction documents
GC and design firm experience a plus
Proficient in CorelDraw, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
Strong communicator who can sell a vision and back it up with detail
Manages multiple projects without losing a thread
Self-driven — you don't need to be pushed, and you make everyone around you better
