Growth Marketing Manager

Location: Southwest Austin, TX (In Office)

Salary: $55,000 Base + Performance Bonus (Up to $5,000) and benefits

About ROAM

ROAM is a fast-growing custom candle manufacturer specializing in premium branded candles for corporate gifting, hospitality, retail, and private label clients. We combine manufacturing, design, and ecommerce to create products for some of the country's leading brands.

We're looking for someone who loves marketing, enjoys creating content, and wants to help build a premium brand from the ground up.

This is an opportunity to learn every aspect of modern marketing while working directly with ownership and having a real impact on the growth of the company.

Position Summary

The Growth Marketing Manager will own the day-to-day execution of ROAM's marketing initiatives. You'll help grow our brand, manage marketing projects, coordinate freelancers and agencies, create engaging content, keep our website current, launch new products, and continuously improve how customers discover and buy from us.

We're not looking for someone with the perfect resume. We're looking for someone who is organized, creative, driven, and excited to learn.

Responsibilities

Brand Marketing

Help grow and strengthen the ROAM brand
Maintain a consistent luxury brand experience across all channels
Assist with seasonal campaigns and product launches
Research competitors and marketing trends
Help develop new marketing ideas and initiatives

Content Creation

Create short-form video content for social media
Photograph products and behind-the-scenes content
Edit videos using modern editing tools
Design marketing graphics using Canva or similar software
Build and organize a library of marketing assets

Organic Social Media

Manage Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Pinterest
Develop and maintain a content calendar
Schedule and publish content
Engage with followers and grow brand awareness
Identify opportunities for organic growth

Ecommerce & Website

Keep the Shopify website updated and accurate
Coordinate with freelance web developers
Add new products and collections
Update landing pages and promotional content
Continuously improve the customer experience

Product Marketing

Support new product launches
Write product descriptions and website copy
Coordinate product photography
Help prepare launch emails and promotional materials

Email Marketing

Build and schedule email campaigns
Assist with automated email flows
Create promotional campaigns
Monitor campaign performance

Marketing Coordination

Coordinate freelance specialists for:
Google Ads
SEO
Website development
Photography and creative projects
Track project timelines and ensure work is completed on schedule

Reporting & Analytics

Track and report on key marketing metrics, including:

Website traffic
Conversion rate
Organic traffic growth
Email performance
Social media growth
Qualified leads
Sample kit requests
Corporate gifting inquiries

Qualifications

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Experience with some of the following is helpful:

Shopify
Canva
ChatGPT or other AI tools
CapCut or similar video editing software
Google Analytics
Klaviyo
Social media platforms

You do not need experience with everything listed above. We're happy to train the right person.

Success in This Role

Within your first 90 days, you'll:

Own the marketing calendar

Coordinate marketing vendors and freelancers
Help improve our website and customer experience
Build systems that allow marketing to scale as the business grows

Compensation & Benefits

$55,000 annual base salary
