About Us

Austin Plastic Surgeon is one of the most recognized aesthetic plastic surgery practices in the country. Three locations across Austin, San Antonio, and Westlake Hills. An in-house, accredited surgery center. A medspa and a wellness division under the same roof. A social media following north of one million.

We are social-first, tech-forward, and unafraid to try things before everyone else does. We make our own content. We host a podcast. We speak at the national meetings. We have built a brand people recognize on sight.

Our organic social media is strong. Now we want to scale. To do that, we need one person who can see the whole board, get their hands dirty, and make every marketing dollar work harder.

The Role

We are hiring a Marketing Director to quarterback our entire marketing operation and roll up their sleeves inside it.

Think of this as a player-coach role. You call the plays and you are on the field. You set the strategy, you lead the team that runs it, and you are in the work yourself every day. You report directly to Dr. Franco.

Read that twice, because it is the whole job. If you want to set strategy from behind a desk and hand it off for someone else to build, this is not your role. If you want to own the strategy and then go make it real with your own hands, keep reading.

You lead two in-house social media managers who film and produce content, and you create alongside them. We have outside teams supporting our website, Meta ads, and Google pay-per-click, but you are not just handing them a brief and walking away. You are in the ad creative. You shape the concepts, write and direct the assets, and hold the campaigns to the numbers. The creative that goes out is yours as much as theirs.

You sit at the center. You tell us what is working, what is not, and where the next dollar should go. Then you help make it happen.

What You'll Own

Lead the team and stay in the creative.

Manage and develop our two in-house social media managers, and create with them
Own the ad creative across Meta and Google: concepts, hooks, copy, and direction
Direct our outside web and paid media teams so their work ladders up to one strategy, and stay hands-on in what they produce
Keep every team rowing in the same direction, including yourself

Own our search visibility, both SEO and AEO.

Oversee our website company and hold them accountable for continual SEO improvement, not set-it-and-forget-it
Drive our answer engine optimization so we show up in AI search and answer engines like ChatGPT, Google AI, and Perplexity, not just traditional search
Track our rankings for the procedures and locations that matter most, and push to win the ones we are not winning yet
Make sure our content, our site, and our reputation all point at the same goal: when someone searches for what we do, we are the first thing they find

Run the CRM and the AI layer.

Own our GoHighLevel CRM end to end
Build and run AI agents and automations for lead follow-up and patient nurture so no lead goes cold
Use AI tools daily to produce more, test faster, and work smarter across content and campaigns
Keep our pipelines clean across surgery, medspa, and wellness

Live in the numbers.

Track leads, conversions, cost per lead, cost per acquisition, ROAS, and retention
Report weekly so we always know where we stand, and deliver a full monthly review
Tell us which channels are earning their spend and which ones to cut

Communicate across the practice.

Translate marketing performance into plain language for providers, the sales team, and administration
Keep everyone aligned on what is working and what is changing
Be the connective tissue between content, sales, and operations

What Success Looks Like

In this role, you are measured on outcomes, not activity. More qualified leads. Higher consult-to-surgery conversion. A lower cost to acquire each patient. Marketing spend that is accountable and traceable. A practice that is scaling because we finally know which levers move the needle, and because the work is getting done at a higher level.

Who You Are

We care more about what you can do than how long you have done it. The right person could come from inside aesthetics, from an agency, or from a growth role somewhere else entirely. What matters is the skill set.

A player-coach at heart. You lead the team and you are still hands-on in the work every day, and you would not want it any other way
Hands-on with ad creative across Meta and Google: you can concept it, write it, and direct it, then read the results and adjust
Genuinely AI-savvy. You already use AI tools to create content, build automations, and move faster, and you are always finding the next one
A real understanding of SEO and AEO. You know how to make a practice rank in traditional search and how to win the new AI answer engines, and you can direct a website vendor to actually execute it
Hands-on with a CRM. GoHighLevel experience is a strong plus
A strong communicator who can manage people, direct vendors, and hold a room of providers and executives
Detail-oriented, the kind of person who builds a clean report and catches what others miss
Fluent in marketing data and comfortable making decisions from it
Organized enough to keep multiple teams, campaigns, and timelines on track at once
A fit for who we are: social-first, fast-moving, and obsessed with the brand

Nice to Have

Experience in aesthetics, plastic surgery, medspa, or another luxury or high-consideration consumer brand
A track record creating content and scaling a brand on social
Hands-on history building AI-driven workflows and automations
