Your future role at a glance:

Location: Austin, TX

Facility: Dell Children's Medical Center

Department/Specialty: Transport

Schedule: Nights, Rotating | Full-time

How you'll make an impact in this role:

Provide critical care on the move: Assess, stabilize, and treat patients using advanced interventions across ground, helicopter, and fixed-wing transports.
Be the ultimate team player: Partner closely with medical crews to ensure seamless, safe patient hand-offs while keeping anxious families informed and reassured.
Prioritize safety and readiness: Keep clinical documentation accurate and specialized transport gear mission-ready to protect both your patients and your team.

What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
One or more of the following required:
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Allow in lieu of Basic Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- BLS Provider obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Allow in lieu of Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Allow in lieu of Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Allow in lieu of Neonatal Resuscitation certification. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
3 years minimum (no less than 4000 hours) ED or ICU experience; required for CAMTS accreditation.
