Logistics & Operations Manager

Austin, TX - Full-Time - On-Site

Pay: $60,000 per year

About El Famoso

El Famoso builds the commerce infrastructure behind culture. Based in Austin, we partner with artists and brands to handle e-commerce fulfillment, wholesale distribution, international shipping, and customer service.

We're looking for someone who enjoys organizing people, solving problems, and making sure projects are completed accurately and on time.

The Role

We're hiring a Logistics & Operations Manager to coordinate operational projects from planning through completion.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for keeping projects organized, ensuring deadlines are met, coordinating work across multiple departments, and helping the warehouse team execute successfully. You'll also support domestic and international shipping by coordinating carriers, preparing shipping documentation, and communicating with customers when needed.

You'll spend part of your day managing projects and communication from a computer, and part of your day on the warehouse floor working with the team to keep projects moving.

We're looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, communicates well, and enjoys building structure while continuously improving existing processes.

What You'll Do

Coordinate multiple operational projects while balancing changing priorities and deadlines.
Help plan staffing and resources to ensure projects stay on schedule.
Keep work organized using Monday.com and other internal tools.
Coordinate work across Receiving, Inventory, Fulfillment, and Client Operations.
Provide day-to-day leadership to warehouse teams to keep projects moving.
Prepare commercial invoices and shipping documentation.
Coordinate domestic and international shipments.
Work with carriers including FedEx, UPS, DHL, and freight providers.
Support wholesale orders, retailer compliance, and EDI workflows.
Communicate proactively with customers regarding project status and shipping updates.
Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and documentation.

What You BringRequired

3+ years of operations, project management, fulfillment, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain experience.
Experience leading teams or coordinating operational projects.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Comfortable working both at a desk and on the warehouse floor.
Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar to improve documentation, communication, and day-to-day productivity.

Preferred

Experience with wholesale operations, retailer compliance, or EDI.
Experience shipping international parcel and freight.
Experience preparing commercial invoices and shipping documentation.
Experience with ShipHero or another Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Experience with Monday.com or similar project management software.
Experience in e-commerce fulfillment or 3PL operations.
