Full Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Intelligence Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data analysis, SQL, reporting, and dashboard development, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, clean, transform, and analyze structured and unstructured data to support business reporting and decision-making.
Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, combine, transform, and analyze data from databases.
Work closely with business teams and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into meaningful reports, dashboards, and insights.
Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of reports and dashboards.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and support regular business performance reporting.
Prepare and maintain recurring reports and identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and automation.
Perform ad-hoc data analysis to identify trends, patterns, insights, and potential business opportunities.
Assist in troubleshooting reporting and data-related issues and coordinate with relevant teams to support timely resolution.
Maintain clear and accurate documentation of reports, dashboards, data sources, SQL queries, and reporting processes.
Support continuous improvement of BI processes, reporting standards, and data visualization practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
1+ year of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, Reporting, or a related role.
Good working knowledge of SQL, including joins, aggregations, filtering, subqueries, and basic data manipulation.
Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI/reporting tools.
Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, formulas, lookups, and basic data analysis.
Basic understanding of databases, tables, relationships, data structures, and data quality concepts.
Ability to interpret data and communicate findings and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay: $88,129.00 - $106,110.00 per year
