About Us

Even is building a network of autonomous factories that manufacture the component parts inside every rocket, jet, drone, submarine, and munition in the US arsenal. We combine software, robotics, and manufacturing processes into a replicable system that we are copying and pasting across the country. By doing so, we are reindustrializing America's most critical supply chains with faster, cheaper, and higher quality manufacturing.

We're launching our mission with our first facility in Austin, Texas. Here we are designing the systems that will be replicated in factories across the country. We will also use this system to power a Factory-as-a-Service model that delivers complete factories to vertically integrated defense manufacturers.

The Role

We’re looking for a skilled Quality Inspection Technician to join us at the ground floor. Your core responsibility is programming, setting up, and operating a CMM. You will also support quality inspections according to our AS9100 QMS principles. We’re a startup, and the best people here will grow fast, learn fast, and take on new responsibilities. You’ll work directly with our software engineering team to make every process smooth and automation forward as we scale. What matters most is precision, work ethic, and an automation-forward mindset.

What You’ll Do

Programming CMM inspections using PC-DMIS based on complex GD&T
Set up and operate Hexagon Global CMM to produce inspection reports
Use hand-held metrology to verify measurements and close any gaps in inspection
Fulfill processes outlined in our AS9100 QMS including receiving, in-process, and final inspections, tool calibration records, and internal audits
Work with software engineers to build automation workflows into your process

Who You Are

Years of experience CMM programming in PC-DMIS and operating CMMs
Experience in an AS9100 environment, validating aerospace parts and materials
Strong familiarity with blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
Detail-oriented with a zero-defect mindset
Excited by automation and eager to work in a shop built around lights-out production
Prior machining experience is a plus

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
