Sales Associate

First Sales Hire · Wide-Open Texas Territory · Path to AE and Sales Manager

Job type: Full-time

Location: Austin, TX field-based, Texas territory(Austin focus, minimal travel to start, if any)

Pay: $48,000 base + uncapped commission ($108,000 OTE)

Every territory in Texas is open. Nobody has called them. Nobody has walked in the door. That's the job — and that's the opportunity.

Aithora is an AI platform for senior care. Assisted living and memory care facilities run on a dozen disconnected systems, so the things that matter most a resident's quiet slide into depression, financial exploitation, a health crisis building over weeks get caught late or missed entirely. We see the whole resident and put staff ahead of the incident instead of scrambling after it. The average neglect settlement in this industry runs north of $287,000. One catch pays for years of vigilance.

We're hiring our first sales executive. Not one of ten. The first. You'll own the phones, the inbox, and the parking lot and when we scale the team, you're the one who moves up first.

What You'll Actually Do

Hit the phones. Every day, no hiding behind the CRM.
Work the inbox. Cold outreach to facility owners, executive directors, and administrators across Texas.
Knock on doors. Austin has 449 residential care facilities. Then there's San Antonio, DFW, and Houston.
Own the whole cycle. Run the demo yourself, handle the objections yourself, and close it yourself.
Bring the field back to us. You'll be the loudest voice in the room on what operators actually need and it will change the product.

Who We're Looking For

2+ years of B2B, field, or phone sales where you carried a number and hit it. Industry doesn't matter. Copiers, payroll, medical devices, roofing, SaaS — if you can sell, we'll teach you senior care.
You are genuinely comfortable being told no, ten times before lunch.
You'd rather build the playbook than be handed one.
You want to run a team someday and you're willing to earn it in the field first.
Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and a willingness to travel across Texas (Austin is priority, you aren’t expected to drive all over the state)

Bonus, not required: existing relationships in senior living, healthcare, or long-term care.
