Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems
Support medical procedures by preparing patients and assisting with tasks such as catheter care, wound care, and specimen collection like phlebotomy
Ensure patient safety by using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and other mobility aids while adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
Document patient interactions thoroughly in medical records while maintaining HIPAA compliance to protect patient confidentiality
Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare teams in diverse settings including ICU, emergency departments, behavioral health units, and post-acute care facilities
Provide compassionate support to individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or behavioral health needs

Requirements

Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with state regulations
Experience working in various healthcare environments such as hospitals (including Level I Trauma Centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care settings
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks or similar platforms for accurate documentation
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques essential for safe patient care
Ability to perform basic life support (BLS) procedures confidently and efficiently
Experience supporting patients with complex needs such as ICU or trauma care is highly desirable
Strong communication skills coupled with a caring attitude focused on delivering exceptional patient service
