Full Job Description

Ide Family of Dealerships is looking for a Service Advisor to join our Honda location. We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic individual who can positively represent the Ide Dealerships. This is a great opportunity for a career path and advancement in the auto industry.

You’re not just scheduling repairs—you’re building relationships, setting clear expectations, and making every guest feel valued and understood. We believe that great communication is the key to an amazing customer experience.

Interested candidates must be able to:

Work Monday through Friday, and rotating Saturdays

Must have a Valid, Clean drivers' license

Job Responsibilities include:

Greeting customers, scheduling service appointments and receiving vehicle information.
Listening to requests of the service desired, and clearly explaining information on the repair order.
Assists customers in identifying concerns so that the proper service and maintenance can be specified
Referring the technician to the customer and/or test-driving the vehicle to confirm source(s) of service repairs.
Estimates cost and completion time/settles customer accounts.
Handling customer complaints and maintaining high customer satisfaction standards.
Periodically checking on the progress of the vehicle during servicing and contacting the customer when technicians discover additional problems; getting customer approval to do additional work and explaining the work performed and the charges being billed.

Suggested Skills:

1-2 years automotive experience preferred.
Knowledge of automotive service terms.
Basic computer skills (Google Suite)
Strong communication skills.
Professional personal appearance.
Able to multi-task.
Desire to meet customers’ needs.
All applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. and possess a valid Driver’s License.
