Full Job Description

We are a virtual, innovative, tech-centric, non-tax CPA firm. We’re not boring. We don’t have boring clients. We come to work, do our work, have fun, and finish at a reasonable hour. Busy season is a breeze, because we don’t do taxes. And, I promise, we will not micro-manage.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Tanya Luken CPA is growing and needs an onsite part-time Accounts Receivable Clerk with hands-on ConnectWise experience, ticketing software used by outsourced IT companies. This role will sit at our client’s office, in the Phoenix, AZ metro area; there is potential to move the role to hybrid after 90 days. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer invoicing, payment application, collections, account reconciliation, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position plays a critical role in ensuring timely collection of receivables and supporting the company's cash flow objectives.

Although, the client requires between 25-35 hours per week, there is an option to work full-time in other areas of the firm, including accounting/QuickBooks/Xero/Business Central. The role, regardless of whether it is part-time or full-time includes full benefits (PTO, retirement, medical).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Generate and distribute customer invoices through ConnectWise.
Apply customer payments accurately and reconcile accounts.
Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and proactively follow up on overdue balances.
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
Maintain accurate customer account records.
Perform account reconciliations and prepare AR reports.
Process credit memos, refunds, and adjustments as needed.
Collaborate with sales, service, and operations teams to resolve customer billing concerns.
Assist with month-end closing and audit requests.
Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS:

2+ years of Accounts Receivable or related accounting experience.
Direct experience using ConnectWise Manage (required).
Microsoft Business Central: 2+ years’ experience
QuickBooks Online (nice to have)
Excel and Office: highly proficient
Proficient on PC
Experience with collections and customer account management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to commute to Downtown Phoenix, east of the ballparks (Washington/Central Ave Metro light rail stop)
Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer

OFFERING:

Compensation: $20-28/hr (Indeed) or $23.90-31.51 (Robert Half)
