Full Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Lead Metal Fabrication Technician to oversee our bending and forming operations. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing production workflows, ensuring high-precision output, and mentoring a team of operators to achieve manufacturing excellence.

Responsibilities

Direct the setup and calibration of advanced press brake systems to maximize throughput and part accuracy.
Standardize operational workflows to improve consistency and reduce material waste across fabrication cycles.
Partner with engineering departments to translate complex technical drawings into high-quality finished components.
Provide technical guidance and safety training to shop floor personnel to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Proactively troubleshoot mechanical or software-related bottlenecks to maintain seamless production schedules.
Track key performance indicators and maintain detailed maintenance logs to ensure long-term equipment reliability.

Required Skills

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a high-volume metal fabrication environment.
Advanced proficiency in operating and setting up press brake machinery, including Amada systems.
Expertise in interpreting complex blueprints, geometric dimensioning, and technical schematics.
Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and operational safety.
Proven track record of effective problem-solving and precision measurement.

Preferred Skills

Technical degree or specialized certification in machining or manufacturing technology.
Experience operating laser punch press equipment.
Deep understanding of mechanical design principles and tooling optimization.
