Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to lead our restaurant team to new heights! This pivotal role combines hands-on management with a passion for delivering exceptional food and service experiences. As an Assistant Manager, you will oversee daily operations, motivate staff, ensure food safety standards, and drive customer satisfaction. Your leadership will foster a positive work environment while maintaining operational excellence, profitability, and high-quality hospitality standards. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to grow their management skills in a fast-paced, vibrant restaurant setting.

Duties

Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service quality, and staff performance
Supervise and coordinate team members’ activities to ensure smooth shift execution and excellent customer service
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste
Oversee food safety practices and ensure compliance with health regulations and sanitation standards
Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and reconciliation
Train, mentor, and develop staff on food handling, culinary techniques, customer service skills, and safety protocols
Support shift management by scheduling staff efficiently and resolving operational issues promptly

Qualifications

Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food industry operations
Demonstrated supervisory experience with team leadership and staff training capabilities
Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills
Experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, kitchen management, and food safety management
Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food production processes
Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and manage hospitality teams effectively
Prior casual dining or fine dining experience is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus
Strong leadership qualities with a focus on team training & development, managing hospitality teams, and ensuring high standards of customer service
