Job Overview

Delta Lock is a leading provider of key management, locking solutions, and security services for multi-site retail, healthcare, commercial, and enterprise customers throughout North America. We partner with some of the nation's most recognized brands to provide physical security solutions, key control programs, lock hardware, installation services, and project-based security initiatives. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced National Account Manager to develop customer relationships, expand existing accounts, and identify new business opportunities across our portfolio of products and services.

Position Summary

The National Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of strategic customer accounts while identifying opportunities to expand Delta Lock's products and services within existing and prospective customers. This role serves as the primary business relationship owner for assigned accounts and works closely with Customer Relations, Project Operations, and Leadership to ensure successful customer outcomes. The ideal candidate is a relationship-focused sales professional who understands complex customer organizations, enjoys solving problems, and has a track record of growing revenue through consultative selling and account development. This position is remote or hybrid and requires 50% travel throughout the United States.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Business Development

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
Grow revenue within existing customer accounts through cross-selling and upselling opportunities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned industries and territories
Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and business reviews
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
Develop strategic account growth plans

Customer Relationship Management

Serve as the primary business contact for assigned accounts
Understand customer objectives, challenges, and operational requirements
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention
Coordinate internal resources to support customer initiatives
Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for customers

Sales & Solution Development

Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals and customer solutions
Support contract negotiations and pricing discussions
Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities
Stay current on market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity

Internal Collaboration

Work closely with Project Operations to support successful project execution
Collaborate with Customer Relations to ensure a seamless customer experience
Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM data
Provide regular account updates and pipeline reporting to leadership

Qualifications

Required

5+ years of account management, business development, outside sales, or related experience
Proven ability to grow and maintain strategic customer relationships
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Experience managing multiple customer accounts simultaneously
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Willingness to travel throughout the United States

Preferred

Experience in security, hardware, facilities, retail services, construction-related services, or multi-site operations
Existing relationships within retail, healthcare, hospitality, banking, or commercial facilities industries
Experience managing national or regional accounts
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
