Full Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience running CNC laser equipment, including tube lasers, Cincinnati lasers, and Amada lasers, and is comfortable working in a physically demanding shop environment.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment to cut metal parts to specification
Operate tube laser, Cincinnati laser, and Amada laser machines
Accurately measure materials and finished parts using a tape measure
Operate various power tools as needed to complete fabrication tasks
Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. as needed
Inspect completed parts for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with shop safety standards

Qualifications

Proven experience running a CNC laser
Experience operating a tube laser
Experience operating a Cincinnati laser
Experience operating an Amada laser
Proficient in using a tape measure
Experience operating power tools
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, bend, and work in a shop environment for extended periods
Comfortable operating heavy machinery and powertools.

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
