Full Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Active and unencumbered RN license
At least 1 year recent experience in an operating room setting
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred)
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities:

Provide expert perioperative nursing care during all surgical phases: pre-op, intra-op, and post-op
Collaborate closely with surgeons and surgical technologists for optimal patient outcomes
Monitor patients’ status, administer medications, and respond swiftly to changes in condition
Maintain strict adherence to safety and sterile protocols
Educate patients and families about surgical procedures and post-op care as needed
