For nearly 40 years, Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse has delivered exceptional dining experiences across 14 locations in five states. Our chef-inspired menu features legendary aged steaks, fresh seafood, and seasonal offerings in an upscale dining atmosphere centered around hospitality and excellence.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead the culinary operations of our fine dining steakhouse. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for a chef who thrives in a high-volume, high-standard environment and takes pride in developing strong teams and delivering exceptional cuisine.

Position Summary

As Executive Chef, you will oversee all back-of-house operations while ensuring the highest standards of food quality, consistency, sanitation, and kitchen leadership. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for hospitality, team development, and classic steakhouse cuisine.

Responsibilities

Lead all daily kitchen operations and culinary execution
Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and timing standards
Manage food and labor costs to achieve financial goals
Hire, train, coach, and develop kitchen team members
Maintain inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
Oversee food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
Contribute to menu development and seasonal features
Foster a positive, professional, and accountable kitchen culture
Collaborate closely with front-of-house leadership to ensure an exceptional guest experience
Maintain excellence in execution within a fast-paced fine dining environment

Qualifications

5+ years of culinary leadership experience in fine dining or upscale steakhouse concepts
Prior Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or comparable leadership experience required
Strong knowledge of steakhouse cuisine, beef programs, and premium proteins
Proven success managing food cost, labor, and kitchen operations
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to lead effectively in a high-volume environment
Passion for hospitality, mentorship, and culinary excellence
