Full Job Description

10XG is hiring an Administrative Assistant to support the Guam Army National Guard, Recruiting and Retention Battalion.

Pay: $30 per hour, total compensation

Location: On site at Army National Guard facilities in Barrigada and Hagatna, Guam. This is not a remote role.

Hours: 0800 to 1700, Monday through Friday, except 11 paid federal holidays

Start date: September 2026 (some flexibility based on candidate availability)

This job depends on 10XG being awarded the contract.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Build and process enlistment packets that comply with Army regulations, working with the Army's Recruiting and Retention team

Keep a digital tracking system covering each enlistment packet from receipt to final disposition, and submit a monthly status report

Interview applicants and give them checklists and step-by-step instructions for the documents they need

Drive enlistment packets to local offices and command locations in your own vehicle to get approval signatures

Write and update the standard operating procedure when regulations or policy change

Help with filing, phones, scheduling, research, and preparing briefing charts

WHAT YOU NEED

U.S. citizenship

A valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle

Ability to pass a background check

HELPFUL BUT NOT REQUIRED

Prior military service, or prior work on a military base

A current or past Common Access Card (CAC). This is the single most useful thing you can bring, because it lets you start right away instead of waiting on background processing.

Experience handling personally identifiable information or protected health information

BACKGROUND

The Guam Army National Guard recruits new members year round. Many otherwise qualified applicants need an enlistment waiver before they can join. This role helps those applicants gather and process the paperwork for their waiver.

This job is a good fit if you are detail-oriented, comfortable reading rules and explaining them to other people, and willing to chase down a missing signature.
