Summary of Position
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of food quality, service, and operational efficiency ensuring adherence & compliance for all standards of operating a CSC location.

Duties & Responsibilities

Serve as a Brand Ambassador for Chicken Salad Chick.
Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, training, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers.
Oversee inventory control processes to minimize waste and ensure proper stock levels.
Coordinate food preparation and presentation to meet quality standards.
Operationally fill in as needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance skills in areas such as food preparation, and customer service.
Conduct interviews and hire new team members to build a strong workforce.
Monitor financial performance by analyzing sales reports and implementing cost-control measures.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement.
Handle customer feedback effectively to enhance the dining experience.
Ensure that all Guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service.
Ensure that all products are consistently prepared and served according to CSC standards.
Achieve identified objectives for sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures.
Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for violations of company policies, rules and procedures.
Understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations pertaining to health, safety and labor requirements for the restaurant, employees and Guests.
Develop, plan and implement restaurant marketing, advertising and promotional activities and campaigns, in accordance with the Brand Standards.
Always adhere to Brand Standards for uniform appearance and personal grooming.

Skills

Three years of proven restaurant General Manager experience.
Strong knowledge of inventory control processes within the food industry.
Experience in food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
Background in fast casual restaurant food restaurant operations is advantageous.
Proven ability in interviewing techniques to select the right candidates for the team.
Skills in catering management to handle special events or large orders.
Expertise in training development to ensure staff are well-equipped to perform their roles effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with both staff and customers.
