Full Job Description

Duration: 3 months to long-term

Shift: 12 hours - 5:30 - 18:00 & 17:30 - 06:00

Note: Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist residents with ADLs, hygiene, bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
Support mobility, transfers, positioning, and assisted ambulation.
Monitor and document vital signs and resident care.
Assist with meals, feeding, and specialized eating techniques.
Escort residents to medical appointments and assist with transportation.
Maintain resident rooms, equipment, and living areas.
Follow infection control, safety, and emergency procedures.
Perform CPR, first aid, and emergency response as required.
Assist physicians with examinations and other clinical tasks.
Train and supervise newly hired aides.
Communicate and coordinate effectively with the charge nurse and care team.
Demonstrate compassion, patience, empathy, and strong observation skills.
Follow medical protocols, procedures, and documentation requirements.
Maintain strong time management, organization, and communication skills.
Ability to safely lift and transfer residents up to 50 lbs.

Requirements:

Certified Nursing Assistant License
BLS/CPR Certification
