Full Job Description

Looking for a Full Time Admissions Director for a nursing home facility. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in a Nursing Home Admissions department, and a thorough knowledge of local hospital systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

Provides support to enable facilities to meet admissions and census goals.
Welcome new residents & their families to ensure a smooth, hassle-free move
Ensure rooms are clean & ready before welcoming new residents
Introduce new residents & their families and show them around the Facility
Coordinate between new residents & unit managers to ensure their quick evaluation upon arrival
Manage the nursing center patient referral flow, admissions process including community sales, referral management, and admission sign-in
Provides marketing leadership and support to their assigned facility to enable them to meet business objectives, increase market awareness, implement strategies, create sales and marketing plans, build, expand and achieve admissions and census goals

Skills and experience

Must have a high school degree or equivalent. Post high school education a plus
At least one year admissions experience in a long-term care or other healthcare setting
Ability to screen referrals in area hospitals
Experience with the admission process in Skilled Nursing Facilities
Some sales and management experience
Knowledge of Point Click Care a plus
