YOUR DAY AS A DINING ROOM TECHNICIAN

As a Part Time Dining Room Technician at St. Vincent de Paul, you will serve as the backbone of our dining room services, playing a vital role in food preparation, storage, and stock management. Your daily tasks will include ensuring the cleanliness of the dining area and welcoming a diverse array of dining room donors, volunteers, community members, guests, and staff.

Each day will bring new challenges as assignments vary according to the needs of the moment, allowing you to showcase your adaptability and commitment to service. You will collaborate closely with the Food Services Program personnel and embody the values of charity and justice, working alongside others to relieve needs and address their root causes. At SVDP, we recognize the dignity of every individual, seeing in each person the face of Christ, making this role not just a job, but a meaningful mission.

WHAT MATTERS MOST

To excel as a Part Time Dining Room Technician at St. Vincent de Paul, a combination of skills and qualifications is essential. A high school diploma is preferred, along with food service experience to ensure proficiency in a dining environment. Familiarity with standard commercial kitchen equipment is necessary for safe operation.

Equally important is the ability to work collaboratively with vulnerable populations and SVDP staff, reflecting respect for the teachings of the Catholic Church and the mission of St. Vincent de Paul.
