What We’re Looking For:

A skilled, focused Registered Nurse who thrives in a procedural environment
Experience in ER, ICU, or a procedural setting preferred
Current Louisiana RN licensure required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong critical-thinking skills and ability to respond effectively during emergent situations
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to take night and weekend call (currently averaging 10 required call shifts per month)

What You Will Do:

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing Vascular and Interventional Radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and positive clinical outcomes.

Assess, monitor, and care for patients before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures
Administer and monitor procedural sedation in accordance with established protocols
Assist physicians during vascular and interventional procedures
Continuously monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
Ensure accurate documentation of patient assessments, medications, and interventions
Maintain sterile technique and support procedural workflow
Participate in on-call coverage, including nights and weekends
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, efficient care
Perform other duties as assigned

Mon-Fri 630-1500 on non-call days/nights and 0730-1600 on call days/nights

10-14 days of call a month

Must be able to get to facility within 30 minutes if on call

1 year of RN and/or procedural experience preferred but not required
