Join Our Family-Owned Metalworking Shop!

Are you passionate about metalworking and craftsmanship? Do you thrive in a hands-on environment where quality and tradition matter? Our small, family-owned metal fabrication and blacksmith shop is looking for a skilled metal fabricator to join our team full-time.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a candidate with:

· Proven experience in metal fabrication (experience in related trades such as auto restoration, blacksmithing, metalsmithing/jewelry and machining is acceptable)

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

· Expertise in welding, cutting, shaping, and assembling various metal components

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

What You’ll Do

As our metal fabricator, your responsibilities will include:

· Fabricating and assembling gates, railings, doors, sculpture and other custom metalwork from drawings and other specifications

· Repairing and restoring historic metalwork

· Collaborating with our team to create custom designs and solutions

· Ensuring all projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards

Requirements

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in metal fabrication

· Must be precise and accurate with a tape measure

· Must work well with others

· Proficiency in using fabrication tools and machinery such as MIG, TIG welders, grinders, drill press, saw and oxy-actylene torch

· Some field work is required. Applicant must have no physical imitations that prevent them from lifting up to 75 pounds.

· Applicant must have own transportation and a valid driver’s license

· Basic machining, blacksmithing skills and/or metal finishing skills such as patina work, painting or other custom finishing is a plus.

Compensation includes,

· 6 paid holidays

· SEP/IRA with up to 3% company match

· Earn up to 1 week paid sick days

· Earn up to 2 weeks of paid vacation after 1st year

· Hourly rate is dependent upon experience generally between $30-40/per hour
