Job Overview

We are seeking a bilingual dynamic and detail-oriented Chiropractic Assistant / Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This vital role combines front desk responsibilities with clinical support, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for patients while assisting with administrative and medical tasks. The ideal candidate will be energetic, organized, and passionate about providing exceptional patient service. You will play a key role in managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and supporting the clinical team with medical documentation and coding.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and manage all front desk operations including answering multi-line phone systems, scheduling appointments, and checking patients in and out efficiently
Maintain accurate patient records by reviewing documentation for completeness and accuracy in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Assist with medical administrative support including filing documents into patient charts, coordinating with case managers with regard to patient status and compliance with care.
Ensure smooth clinic operations by managing appointment scheduling, patient intake processes, and handling phone etiquette professionally at all times
Making sure the patient is on track with their care plan and keeping the doctor and case managers up to date on the status.
Documenting all interactions (phone, email and verbal) with attorneys, case managers, other medical facilities and the patient in their chart is extremely important.

Experience

Prior clinic or medical office experience is not required but helpful.
Bilingual in Spanish is required as some of the patients are Spanish speaking only.
Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills typing (10 key), and familiarity with Excel
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently and maintain professionalism under pressure
Office management or clerical experience that includes filing, documentation review, and front desk duties will be highly valued
