Now Hiring: Paralegal Associate – Construction

Extera Building Solutions is growing, and we’re looking for a highly organized, detail-driven Paralegal Associate to help support legal operations across our expanding construction platform.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys fast-paced work, staying organized, solving problems, and working closely with leadership and operational teams. If you have experience in construction, contracts, legal support, or compliance — and enjoy being the person who keeps everything moving behind the scenes — we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Be Doing

Contract & Document Support

Draft, review, organize, and manage contracts including:
Subcontracts
NDAs
Vendor agreements
Change orders
MSAs
Help identify contract risks and recommend revisions
Maintain legal files, databases, and important deadline tracking

Litigation & Claims Support

Assist outside legal counsel with:
Construction claims
Liens
Bond matters
Arbitration/litigation support
Organize legal documents, correspondence, and records

Compliance & Regulatory Coordination

Track licenses, permits, certifications, and compliance documents
Assist with OSHA, workers’ compensation, and safety-related documentation
Support legal and regulatory requests as needed

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with operations, project management, HR, finance, safety, and executive leadership
Serve as a trusted internal resource for contracts and legal processes
Help improve documentation standards and organization company-wide

What We’re Looking For

Associate’s Degree or Paralegal Certificate
5+ years of paralegal or legal assistant experience
Construction, commercial law, or real estate experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information professionally
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Bonus Points For

Construction or roofing industry experience
Experience with contracts, insurance, bonds, liens, or OSHA documentation
Multi-state operations experience
Notary Public certification (or willingness to obtain)
