The Practice Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the office while helping create a positive, efficient, and patient-focused environment. This position may also include treatment coordinating and front desk responsibilities, depending on the needs of the practice.

What You'll Do

Lead, motivate, and develop the dental team
Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate staff performance
Build a strong team culture centered around teamwork, accountability, and patient care
Monitor and improve the overall patient experience
Address patient concerns and resolve complaints professionally
Support the financial and operational goals of the practice
Develop and implement processes that improve efficiency, production, and profitability
Monitor treatment acceptance and ensure timely follow-up on unaccepted treatment
Track and monitor new-patient referral sources
Work closely with providers and management to ensure smooth patient consultation and examination processes
Assist with treatment presentations and consultations when needed
Educate patients about treatment plans, financial arrangements, and dental benefits
Prepare and manage patient appointments, including benefit information and appointment confirmations
Review patient accounts, financial agreements, and other necessary information with patients
Help oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes and identify opportunities for improvement
Ensure staff are properly trained on office systems, procedures, and patient service expectations
Stay current with new regulations, safety protocols, technology, and practice requirements

What We're Looking For

Required:

Minimum 5 years of dental practice management experience
Previous experience as a Treatment Coordinator, RDA, or RDH is highly valued
Proven experience supervising and developing a dental team
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Experience training and evaluating employees
Strong patient service skills and the ability to confidently handle challenging situations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional appearance and a positive, approachable attitude
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, and internet applications
Experience with dental practice management software, imaging, and digital file-sharing systems
Ability to understand and explain dental insurance benefits, including PPO and HMO plans
Strong understanding of treatment coordination and patient financial discussions

Preferred:

Bilingual Spanish/English
Experience with comprehensive treatment planning and case presentation
Experience in a multi-specialty or multi-provider dental practice
