Job Summary
We are seeking for a dedicated medical receptionist to join our medical practice front office team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our patients and their parents, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ready to render assistant in the practice where necessary, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet and welcome patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently using computerized systems. Schedule appointments in person or by telephone, and referrals
Handle inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls and take detailed messages as needed.
Maintaining calm and orderly environment, optimizing patients' satisfaction, and treatment room utilization.
Filling and retrieving patients records to ensure continuation of treatment.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing documents, and maintaining office inventory and supplies.
Maintaining confidentiality of medical records, financial, and personal, information.
Maintaining patient account, recording and collecting patient charges, and updating financial information.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless daily office workflow
Uphold cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.

Experience

Previous experience in a Medical office is preferred; experience as a Medical Receptionist is a plus.
Proficiency in computer literacy, including familiarity with office software and booking systems.
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and staff professionally.
A dependable and reliable individual.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
