The Sr. Technical Agronomist serves as a trusted technical advisor to sales teams and customers by providing advanced agronomic expertise , crop production recommendations, and product stewardship support. This role partners closely with Sales Agronomists, Crop Advisors, Territory Representatives, and Marketing teams to drive customer success, support product positioning, and deliver agronomic solutions that improve crop performance and profitability. Leveraging deep technical knowledge, field experience, and industry expertise , the Sr. Technical Agronomist influences business growth while ensuring responsible product use and agronomic best practices.
A Sample of What You’ll Do in t his Role:
Deliver crop production recommendations and technical guidance related to crop nutrition, crop protection, seed, biological, and specialty product solutions.
Present technical information through customer meetings, grower events, field days, and training sessions.
Maintain current knowledge of agronomic practices, industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies.
Travel frequently to customer locations, research sites, field trials, and company facilities to support business objectives .
What You Bring to t he Role:
Strong understanding of crop production systems, fertility programs, crop protection products, and agronomic best practices
Knowledge of agronomic practices, industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies
Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agriculture, Plant Science, or a related field required ; advanced degree preferred
Your Digital & Technology Capabilities:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Teams, and agricultural technology platforms to support collaboration, customer engagement, and technical field activities

Compensation and Benefits:
In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $69,000 - $92,080. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience .
This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, and retirement plan participation, including an employer contribution of up to 7% into your 401(k).
