Full Job Description

Northern New England Sales Director

Rock & Recycling Equipment, LLC is a full-service provider of stationary and mobile aggregate processing equipment. We are the exclusive dealer of the MCCloskey, Lippmann, and Komplet brand products in the New England area. We’re seeking a sales representative to become our new Sales Director in Northern New England. This is an established territory with a great customer base.

An ideal candidate would have the skill sets outlined below; however, we’re willing to train the right person.

Job Description
Rock & Recycling Equipment, LLC, seeks a sales representative to become our new director for sales in the Northern New England territory. This position is an outside sales position primarily, but this position will have the latitude and flexibility to grow the territory as needed. This person will be responsible for building and maintaining this territory through selling new and used equipment to both established and new customers, while also renting equipment where and when possible. The Sales Director will also be responsible for identifying marketing opportunities and local trade shows that will help build the company’s presence and image in the territory.

Essential Job Duties (in addition to sales):

Remain current on product specifications and features of equipment being sold.
Be up-to-date on competitive activity and products.
Must be aware of trends in our customers’ business.
Maintain current and complete sales information for all customers in the assigned area, accurately completing all documents related to sales transactions as directed.
Responsible for keeping all company equipment assigned (laptop, cell phone, etc.) in good working condition.
Conduct equipment demonstrations in the field as needed.
Should have good knowledge of used equipment and the ability to evaluate said equipment for trading purposes.
Attend applicable sales training events/seminars as needed.
Will work closely with other sales people as well as service and parts division to promote good customer relations and increase overall sales in the region.

Skills and Qualifications:

Must have or be willing to train for all the skills necessary to succeed in sales, including Customer service skills o Ability to meet sales goals/ closing skills o Territory management o Prospecting skills o Negotiation ability o Self-confidence o Presentation skills o Motivation for sales
Stays up-to-date with Lippmann equipment specifications. Training to be provided by employer and equipment manufacturer.
A degree or background in marketing, construction or business management a plus, but not required
Ability to use standard computer applications (Microsoft Office, internet functions) and experience working with a CRM is preferred
Ability and willingness to work in a team atmosphere is critical

Compensation/Benefits:

Pay will include a competitive base pay plus commission on all sales.
