Position: Caregiver Location: Fort Worth, Keller, Lewisville, Flower Mound, Grapevine, Southlake, Burleson, Arlington, Crowley, TX and surrounding areas

Job Description:

Homewatch CareGivers is looking for dependable, skilled, and personable caregivers in Fort Worth and surrounding areas. If you have open availability and are ready to make a difference in the lives of our clients, we want to hear from you. Job Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Minimum of 2 years experience as a caregiver in a homecare and/or skilled facility setting.
Must meet hiring criteria as defined in the agency’s minimum standards.
Must be able to function with minimal supervision and maintain a professional client relationship.
Must accept responsibility for ongoing learning and skill development, adhering to agency policies.
Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and insurance.
Does not administer medication or perform procedures requiring the knowledge or skills of a licensed nurse or registered therapist.
Must pass all background and drug screenings.

Major Responsibilities:

Provide Personalized Care: Offer compassionate and personalized assistance to our clients, adhering to their unique care plans and preferences.
Support Daily Activities: Assist clients in their daily routines, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility, while promoting their independence and comfort.
Emotional Support: Be a source of emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive and caring environment for clients.
Effective Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with clients, their families, and our healthcare team to ensure the best possible care.
Safety: Prioritize the safety and well-being of clients, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
Documentation: Accurately document care activities and any changes in a client's condition, providing vital information for our healthcare team.
Flexibility: Be adaptable and ready to respond to the evolving needs of clients, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care.

Physical Qualifications:

Able to work 20-40 hours per week.
Able to perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, stooping, and standing.
Able to lift 20-30 pounds.
Must have a smartphone. We use Kantime for clocking in and out of shifts and for entering client notes.
