Position Overview
Emerald Search Partners is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized Recruiting & Operations Lead to support internal functions of the business, including recruiting, office operations, and business development activities. This role is central to keeping the team running smoothly – assisting recruiters, maintaining efficient workflows, strengthening internal processes, and helping nurture relationships with candidates, clients, and external partners. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, communicates confidently, and enjoys being a go-to resource who helps keep the business moving forward. This role also offers the opportunity for growth into operational management – perfect for someone with long-term career growth in mind.

Key Responsibilities
Recruiting Support:

Assist recruiters in candidate communications and tracking hiring progress.
Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (Bullhorn) with candidate information and placement status.
Conduct reference calls and coordinate pre-employment assessments as needed.
Support onboarding new hires, ensuring completion of required documentation.
Draft and post job descriptions across various platforms.
Manage and update candidate and client records in internal databases.

Office Administration:

Greet visitors and provide a professional and welcoming office environment.
Maintain office supplies and coordinate orders as needed.
Assist with general office management duties, including filing, document preparation, and maintaining an organized workspace.
Troubleshoot and coordinate IT support.
Process temporary employee payroll.
Help plan and support company events like team meetings, celebrations, trainings, or social gatherings.

Operational Initiatives:

Manage relationships with external account representatives to ensure effective and optimized use of platforms and services.
Identify opportunities to enhance internal workflows and support process improvements across the organization.
Stay informed on industry trends and innovations, offering thoughtful recommendations for operational enhancements.
Lead cross-functional projects from initiation through completion.
Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support overall business operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience: 1+ years of administrative or recruiting coordination experience preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel); experience with ATS or CRM software a plus.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Organization: Strong ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Professionalism: Positive attitude, high level of discretion, and ability to work with confidential information.
Adaptability: Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm | 4 Days In-Office, 1 Day Remote

Compensation: $25.00 to $35.00 Hourly, DOE
