Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various guest inquiries efficiently.

Responsibilities

Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
Manage the check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy in reservations and billing.
Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about hotel services and amenities while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
Maintain an organized front desk area, including managing guest records and ensuring confidentiality.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
Assist with reservations, cancellations, and modifications as needed.
Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and hotel policies to enhance the guest experience.

Skills

Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for effective communication with diverse guests.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Previous experience in front desk operations within a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
Familiarity with hotel management software and phone systems is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
