Full Job Description

If you are looking for a position that offers a positive, supportive work environment, quality supervision and training, and guaranteed weekly hours, Cascade Behavioral Intervention is hiring! Our Intervention Assistants provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) intervention to preschoolers with developmental disabilities under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Extensive initial and ongoing training and support are provided, including regular competency-based pay increases as employees progress through our staff training curriculum. The Interventionist position is a great fit for students or graduates in education and social sciences who are looking for a fun, rewarding position working with children. The position offers variety and on-the-job learning opportunities, with the chance to work with children ages 18 months to 6 years in our clinic, patient homes, and preschools/grade schools. For those pursuing their certification/license in behavior analysis, we offer free, quality supervised experience by Masters- and Doctoral-level clinicians, as well as paid supervised experience hours. Interventionists gain excellent work experience and training, allowing them to build a foundation for future career opportunities. Qualifications and Skills

High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or related field strongly preferred
Relevant experience or coursework in childcare or child development strongly preferred
Enthusiastic, flexible, able to multitask and learn quickly, and eager to work collaboratively with team members
Supportive of our values of teaching self-advocacy and our caring, respectful approach to positive behavior supports
Able to commit to at least one year of employment
Must successfully pass background check and register with state as Registered Behavior Analysis Interventionist within first month of employment (training to meet state requirements and reimbursement for registration/background check fees provided)
Reliable transportation required for in-home and school-based therapy sessions
Bilingual (Spanish speaking) applicants strongly encouraged to apply
The position requires a range of physical activity, including sitting on the floor or in child sized chairs, bending or kneeling to reach the child’s eye level, picking up or lifting small children (up to 35 lbs.), walking or running to stay in close proximity with children, and playing actively

Job Type: Full time (30+ hours/week) with options for part time, typical schedule is 30-35 hours per week, with hours assured even in the event of client cancelations

Salary: $22 to $25/hour pay scale based on qualifications, education, and skill level. There are opportunities for advancement

Pay is commensurate with experience and qualifications, with increases upon completion of state RBAI registration and optional RBT credential.
Applicants with an RBT credential start at $22.50/hour.
Applicants with a bachelor's degree start at $22.50/hour. Applicants with a master's degree start at $23.00/hour. Applicants with a degree and RBT credential receive an additional 50 cent per hour increase.
We offer regular competency-based pay increases and opportunities for advancement
$300 bonus at 30 days of employment for those who have completed state RBAI registration prior to date of hire
