About the Role:

CrowdStrike is seeking an experienced Engineer I to join our Systems Integration team. In an effort to reduce the threat of hardware assets being compromised: the Systems Integration Facility is responsible for the sanitization and burn-in of computer equipment prior to the distribution to our Data Centers and POPs. The ideal candidate should have a background working in a data center or integration facility operation, have an understanding of hardware concepts and is motivated to learn in our fast-paced environment. This role will be focused on our incoming quality control and full rack integration efforts.

What You’ll Do:

Assemble equipment using manufacturing documentation and engineering specifications.
Utilize appropriate tools to install, configure and test equipment and components.
Perform hardware inspection according to the company’s security inspection procedures.
Perform packaging and shipping of tested and/or integrated equipment.
Examine and test equipment at various stages in order to identify errors.
Install hardware into test stands and integrate into production server cabinets..
Advise Material Handlers to pick up and deliver equipment for testing and integration as needed.
Escalate issues to Facility Manager as needed.
Documenting process and procedures.
Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

What You’ll Need:

2+ years experience preferred with direct experience managing servers and/or data centers to support business goals.
Familiar with copper and optical cabling.
Understand power cabling.
Ability to lift up to 75 lb.
Familiar with command line interfaces.
Familiar with server, storage, internet technologies.
Ability to communicate technical detail into succinct and fact-based business terminology both verbally and in writing.
Customer-focused mindset, with demonstrated skill in managing expectations and providing proactive status updates.
Ability to use independent judgment to make sound, justifiable decisions and take action to solve problems.
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work independently and meet deadlines.
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.

The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $70,000 - $95,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.
