Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Morning Kitchen Manager (AM Kitchen Manager) to lead our culinary team during the morning shift. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily food preparation, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, foster a positive team environment, and uphold our commitment to delivering outstanding dining experiences. Responsibilities

Supervise morning food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS.
Oversee cash handling procedures during shift changes, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
Train and develop staff members in food safety, proper food handling, customer service, and operational procedures.
Lead shift management by coordinating team schedules, assigning tasks, and ensuring smooth service flow during busy morning hours.
Enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment aligned with food safety standards.
Collaborate with front-of-house teams to deliver seamless customer experiences and resolve any service issues promptly.
Conduct staff interviews and participate in hiring processes to build a skilled and motivated team.
Implement food production processes for catering, banquets, or special events as needed.
Support restaurant management in budgeting efforts and cost control initiatives to optimize profitability.

Experience

Proven supervising experience within quick service or fast-food restaurants, ideally with casual or fine dining backgrounds.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary practices, and kitchen management tools such as Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams, training staff, and fostering a positive work environment.
Experience with inventory control, food safety protocols, and cash handling procedures.
Previous roles involving shift management in a hospitality or restaurant setting are highly desirable.
Familiarity with hotel or catering environments can be an advantage.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate team members and ensure high standards of customer service.
