Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records related to automotive dealership operations. Candidate should be knowledgeable in all aspects of automotive accounting procedures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where precision, efficiency, and a proactive approach are highly valued.

Responsibilities

Perform data entry and maintain accurate records within accounting software such as Tekion.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.

Knowledge of all aspects of automotive accounting office procedures and MV processing knowledge as a plus.

Reconcile general ledger accounts and balance sheets with meticulous attention to detail.

Prepare journal entries, conduct account analysis, and perform double-entry bookkeeping to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Assist with month-end closing procedures.

Utilize Excel data analysis skills to generate reports, identify discrepancies.

Proven experience in accounting or finance roles within the automotive industry.

Strong knowledge of accounting concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, account reconciliation, and general ledger management.
