Job Title: Steel Project Manager

Location: West Babylon, NY

Job Type: Full-Time

Industry: Structural & Miscellaneous Steel

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Steel Project Manager/Estimator to oversee structural and miscellaneous steel projects from inception to completion, while also performing accurate and timely cost estimates for structural and miscellaneous steel packages. The ideal candidate will have experience in steel fabrication, erection, and project coordination, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage multiple steel construction projects, ensuring successful execution.
Coordinate with clients, engineers, architects, and subcontractors.
Oversee project budgets, schedules, and materials procurement.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
Supervise field teams, ensuring quality control and adherence to project specifications.
Prepare and present project reports, progress updates, and risk assessments.
Troubleshoot and resolve any project-related challenges.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
Minimum 5 + years of experience in steel construction project management.
Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, welding, and erection processes.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
OSHA certification (preferred).
