Universal Remote Control (URC) is a global leader in smart home automation and control solutions. For more than 35 years, URC has helped homeowners control audio, video, lighting, shades, climate, security, and other equipment through innovative technology installed by a network of professional integration partners.

We are seeking a strategic, creative, and results-driven Vice President/ Senior Director of Marketing to lead the development and execution of URC's integrated marketing strategy. This executive-level role is responsible for strengthening brand awareness, disseminating product information, brand loyalty, accelerating product sales, and elevating customer engagement across both professional installation and consumer channels.

What You'll Do

Marketing Strategy & Leadership

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that support both short-term business objectives and long-term company growth.
Lead the planning, execution, and measurement of all marketing initiatives across B2B and B2C channels.
Collaborate closely with executive leadership to establish and evolve overall company strategy.
Manage marketing budgets, forecasts, agency relationships, and vendor partnerships.
Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team focused on innovation, accountability, and measurable results.

Brand Management & Market Positioning

Lead all aspects of URC branding to strengthen brand equity, royalty and market awareness.
Develop compelling messaging and positioning that resonates with dealers, consumers, and industry influencers.
Ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints and marketing communications.
Conduct market research, customer analysis, and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities and market trends.

Demand Generation & Digital Marketing

Create and manage integrated campaigns across digital, social media, email, web, content marketing, public relations, and traditional advertising.
Oversee marketing automation initiatives, dealers lead nurturing programs, and acquisition strategies.
Evaluate and optimize customer journeys across multiple channels and touchpoints.
Oversee company websites, dealer portals, social platforms, and digital content strategies.
Analyze campaign performance, customer engagement, and return on marketing investment (ROI).

Advertising, Public Relations & Communications

Direct all digital advertising activities, including creative development, media planning, placement, negotiation, and performance analysis.
Lead public relations efforts and maintain relationships with editors, journalists, analysts, publishers, and industry influencers.
Oversee press releases, product announcements, newsletters, technical communications, and corporate messaging.
Ensure a consistent and compelling voice across all external communications.

Events, Product Launches & Channel Marketing

Partner with sales, product management, and training teams to support trade shows, dealer events, and industry conferences.
Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new product introductions.
Oversee collateral development, promotional materials, booth design, and event experiences.
Drive dealer engagement and business growth through strategic channel marketing programs.

What Success Looks Like

In this role, you will:

Promote URC products to dealers to increase their knowledge of the benefits and the value it can add to their business that will lead to measurable revenue growth.
Strengthening brand awareness and improving dealer engagement across all marketing channels.
Successfully launch new products and support market share expansion.
Implement data-driven marketing processes and automation platforms that improve campaign effectiveness and customer experience.
Build a high-performing marketing organization that drives efficiency, creativity, and business results.
Establish marketing as a strategic growth driver across the organization.

What We're Looking For

Required

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience.
On-Site Role out of URC Headquarters in Harrison, NY
Proven success developing and executing integrated B2B and B2C marketing strategies.
Strong background in brand management, digital marketing, demand generation, and customer engagement.
Excellent communication, presentation, and public relations skills.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
Experience managing budgets, agencies, and cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams

Preferred

Experience in smart home technology, consumer electronics, custom integration, AV, home automation, or related technology industries.
Experience with marketing control platforms, CRM systems, and data analytics tools.
Track record of successful product launches and channel marketing programs.
Experience working within high-growth or entrepreneurial business environments.
