Overview
Join a dynamic legal team as our Law Office Front Desk Receptionist/Legal Assistant, where your energy and organizational skills will be an asset of our busy office. A proactive approach, adherence to confidentiality protocols, and excellent communication skills will be very helpful. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your office management, writing skills, and customer service expertise within a professional legal setting.

Duties~

Schedule appointments, coordinate calendars, and assist with case-related reminders using office management tools.
Handle clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, proofreading documents, and maintaining organized records.
Support administrative functions, including basic bookkeeping tasks.
Maintain office supplies inventory and ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming at all times.
Utilize computer skills across Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Case Management software effectively.
Provide customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and courteously while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Assist with general office management duties such as calendar management, filing systems, and document proofreading to ensure accuracy.
Support attorney and paralegals with personal assistant responsibilities when needed, including time management and scheduling.

Qualifications~

Prior office experience or clerical experience in a professional environment is required.
At least a year or more of previous law firm experience is preferred.
Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), as well as copier, fax, postage machine, and data entry skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette.
Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and office management software is advantageous.
Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining accuracy in proofreading and data entry tasks is paramount.
Demonstrated time management skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
Personal assistant or calendar management experience is a plus for supporting attorneys’ schedules. This role offers an engaging environment where your proactive attitude and attention to detail will make a meaningful impact daily!

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
