Full Job Description

Summary of Opportunity

The Construction Contract Administrator is responsible for managing and administering construction contracts throughout the project lifecycle. This role ensures compliance with contract terms, coordinates contract documentation, monitors project changes, supports risk management, and serves as a liaison

What you will be doing

Maintain contract records and document control systems.
Track contract milestones, deliverables, and performance obligations.
Prepare, review, and administer construction contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and service agreements.
Ensure contract documents are complete, accurate, and compliant
Review and process change orders, amendments, and contract modifications.
Evaluate the contractual and financial impact of proposed changes.
Coordinate approvals and maintain accurate records
Support project closeout activ
Monitor compliance with contract terms, regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
Identify and mitigate contractual risks.
Assist with claims management and dispute resolution.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and contractors
Monitor project progress
Assist in resolving contractual issues and disputes.
Ensure insurance certificates, bonds, and licenses remain current and compliant.
Understand insurance language to evaluate compliance.
Maintain organized contract files and project records.
Generate reports on contract status, change orders, claims, and project performance.
Prepare correspondence related to contractual matters.
Coordinate document distribution among project stakeholders.
What you will need
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in construction contract administration
Knowledge of construction contracts, project delivery methods, and industry practices.
Understanding of AIA, ConsensusDocs, or other standard construction contract forms.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
Certified Construction Contract Administrator (CCCA) designation or similar certification preferred.
Experience with public and private sector construction projects.
Familiarity with procurement processes and contract law principles.
Experience using Procore, Sage, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar systems.
Experience with Contract review and negotiation
