Full Job Description

SpeedX is seeking an experienced Claims Management Manager to oversee end-to-end claims operations across both Customer Claims (AR) and Delivery Service Provider Claims (AP). This role owns the governance, investigation, dispute handling, financial recovery, and continuous improvement of claims processes across our delivery network.

You will work closely with Operations, Quality Control, Customer Service, Finance, Product, and DSP partners to reduce claim exposure, improve recovery rates, and drive process standardization. This position is based in Los Angeles (LAX) with occasional travel to hubs, service centers, and partner locations.

Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of customer claims including intake, investigation, validation, dispute handling, resolution, and reporting
Lead DSP claims management including claim submission, liability determination, recovery tracking, dispute negotiation, and closure
Establish and maintain claims policies, SOPs, workflows, SLAs, escalation paths, and evidence standards
Partner with Quality Control and Operations to investigate Lost, Damaged, DNR, Mis-delivery, Theft, Bad POD, and Service Failure claims
Drive claim recovery efforts and improve financial outcomes through effective evidence management and DSP accountability
Collaborate with Finance to monitor claims exposure, recovery performance, and claims-related financial impact
Analyze claims trends and identify operational root causes, driving corrective actions with internal teams and delivery partners
Lead regular performance reviews with DSPs and internal stakeholders to improve service quality and reduce claims occurrence
Support implementation and optimization of claims-related systems, dashboards, and workflow automation
Manage and develop claims specialists and offshore support resources, ensuring productivity, quality, and SLA compliance
Produce regular management reporting on claims volume, recovery rates, aging, dispute outcomes, and operational performance
Serve as escalation point for high-impact customer and DSP disputes

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or related field
8+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, parcel delivery, claims management, customer service, or operations
3+ years of people management experience leading claims, operations, customer service, or quality teams
Experience managing both customer-facing claims and carrier/vendor recovery programs strongly preferred
Strong understanding of parcel delivery operations, proof of delivery validation, loss prevention, and dispute resolution
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial acumen with ability to translate data into actionable improvements
Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
Experience with claims management platforms, ticketing systems, reporting tools, and workflow automation preferred
Fluent English required; Mandarin Chinese is a plus
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must be willing to work onsite in Los Angeles (LAX)
