Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide to join our care team. As a Certified Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in medication administration, caregiving, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities

- Administer medications and monitor client responses to medications
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and meals
- Provide care and support to clients with developmental disabilities and other special needs
- Promote independence and autonomy for clients
- Work collaboratively with other caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration and client care
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other applicable regulations
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for clients with memory care needs
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with industry developments and best practices

Requirements

- Current certification as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in the state where the job is located
- Experience in home community care, assisted living, or memory care
- Strong understanding of caregiving principles and practices
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and systems
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and guidelines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of care and compassion in all interactions with clients and colleagues

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.43 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
