Full Job Description

Job Summary: Fast paced Service Department that services all makes and models of semi-trailers, trailer refrigerated units, semi and box truck PM's, truck and trailer liftgates, and golf carts. Duties included the following:

1. Perform daily lot check and keep an accurate daily job list.

2. Assist Shop Foreman with technician daily schedule.

3. Communicate with customers on current status of repairs on units.

4. Communicate with customers when repairs are completed and collect payment.

5. Utilize centralize billing platforms and enter data into those systems to receive payment.

5. Scan and organize documents related to repairs, such as DOT paperwork and PM inspection sheets.

6. Monitor email inboxes to stay current on customer communications.

7. Answer phones and assist with customer service requests.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years old

Must have high school diploma or equivalent

Must have valid driver’s license

Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen

Physical/Environmental demands:

Must be able to sit at workstation for long periods of time
Must be able to work in all outside weather conditions occasionally, while loading and unloading trucks.
Must be able to drive in all weather conditions, including winter driving.
Must be able to climb ladder no higher than 15 ft.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.'

Other Responsibilities

1. Performs any/all tasks assigned by the Service Manager taking care to ensure the highest efficiency available without sacrificing quality.

2. Learn and use point of sales computer system to fullest capabilities

3. Attends or performs online Service Department Training Sessions.

4. Become familiar with and promote all available product lines for best customer service.

5. Upsell parts and service-related items to all customers.

6. Collect accounts receivable as necessary and closes out work orders in a timely manner.

7. Gathers all information needed as necessary to process vendor warranties and closes out work orders in a timely manner.

Pay: $24.00 - $27.50 per hour
