Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Medical Transportation Specialist to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing safe, timely, and compassionate transportation services for patients requiring medical assistance. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will ensure a positive experience for every passenger while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who rely on our services daily.

Duties

Safely operate various types of vehicles including shuttle buses, limousines, and paratransit vans to transport patients and clients to medical appointments, hospitals, and other destinations.
Assist passengers with mobility needs, including heavy lifting and securement of wheelchairs or stretchers, ensuring comfort and safety throughout transit.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure all transportation equipment is in excellent working condition.
Communicate clearly with passengers, healthcare providers, and dispatch teams to coordinate schedules and address any special needs or concerns.
Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure a secure environment for passengers and staff alike.
Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and passenger information in compliance with regulatory standards.
Respond promptly to emergencies or unforeseen incidents during transit, coordinating with emergency responders when necessary.

Skills

Proven experience as a shuttle driver, delivery driver, bus driver, or chauffeur with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with diverse passengers and team members.
Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting safely while assisting passengers or loading equipment.
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance routines to identify issues early and ensure vehicle reliability.
Experience with paratransit services or school bus driving is highly desirable.
Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude and professionalism at all times.
Ability to operate various vehicle types including limousine services or <PERSON> drivers with precision and care.
