Full Job Description

Accounting Professional – Property Management

Join a collaborative accounting and property management team where accuracy, dependability, and client service make a daily impact. We are looking for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working with numbers, supporting property managers, communicating with clients and vendors, and helping keep financial operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

· Use Yardi, Facility Manager, Commercial Café, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Word, and Excel to support daily accounting activity.

· Post rent, enter invoices, and process payments accurately and on schedule.

· Partner with property managers to answer questions, obtain invoice approvals, and resolve accounting-related items.

· Maintain accurate property management database records and recurring management reports.

· Communicate professionally with clients, customers, vendors, and internal team members by phone and in person.

· Balance accounts, review financial information, and support monthly property financial reporting.

· Prepare reporting packets, enter journal entries, and review financial statements and budgets for accuracy, variances, and overages.

· Monitor cash flow, invoice status, payments, and related accounting matters in coordination with property managers.

· Manage deadlines, prioritize daily work, and provide backup support for other accounting desks as needed.

Qualifications

· 3–5 years of accounting experience preferred.

· Yardi Voyager experience preferred.

· Property management accounting experience preferred.

· Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

· Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.

· Ability to take initiative, manage competing priorities, and contribute positively to the team.
