Full Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ development in an onsite school-based setting for the upcoming 2026–2027 academic year. This position is ideal for experienced Occupational Therapists who are passionate about making a difference in the educational environment. The assignment runs from August 17, 2026, through June 3, 2027, offering steady, full-time hours—35 hours per week, with a Monday through Friday schedule.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist
Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting
Deep understanding of IEP processes and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to varying student needs
Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Conduct evaluations to determine students’ therapy needs and develop intervention plans
Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to achieve students’ educational goals
Document therapy sessions and progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
Support the school’s mission to help every student reach their fullest potential
Participate in team meetings and provide consultative services as required
